Nature provides us herbs as the perfect mix of constituents to use to assist in the recovery from illnesses and maintain health. Plants are different from their pharmaceutical counterparts in that they are often more gentle than drugs and they contain nutrients in addition to their “active” ingredients.

Botanicals may be processed in various ways, including drying, alcohol extraction, cooking, and desiccating. Which form (tea, tincture, capsule, or solid extract) an herb is used in is individual to an individual’s needs; often they are used in combination with other herbs. They are not chemically altered as many pharmaceutical drugs are. Botanical Medicine can be, and often is called Herbal Medicine.[/tagline_box][/one_full][/fullwidth]
